The first school was built for Afro-Americans in Mecklenburg County. To promote educational programs and activities to strengthen community welfare.To provide an opportunity for mental, emotional, and social growth concerning Thyne Institute for the citizens of Chase City, VA.

What Does Math Have To Do With It?
Saturday, September 14th at the Estes Center, located at 316 Main Street, Chase City, Virginia 23924, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The program aims to inspire students in grades 7th and 8th and parents from Mecklenburg County about the significance of math and science in daily life. We are proud to host representatives from three local businesses who will demonstrate the importance of these subjects both in the workplace and at home.
