support and encourage the recognition of the historical significance of Thyne Institute.

The first school was built for Afro-Americans in Mecklenburg County. To promote educational programs and activities to strengthen community welfare.To provide an opportunity for mental, emotional, and social growth concerning Thyne Institute for the citizens of Chase City, VA.
